- To bring recognition of the struggles and value of disabled and mad people as we fight against ableism and other forms of oppression.
- To be visible and show that we have a voice in our community and a right to be heard by taking to the streets.
- To celebrate and take pride in ourselves as a community of disabled and mad people.
Toronto Disability Pride March 
Hi, I’m Yeye Zhu, a journalism student from University of Toronto and I’m also a reporter for Toronto Observer.
Recently I’m working on a project about the difficulties people in wheelchair may face when they dining out in Toronto, because there’s not enough wheelchair accessible restaurants.
